  • Managing event access and restrictions

Hostory is not responsible for the organisation, execution, or legality of events created by users.

5. Guest Invitations and QR Codes

The platform may generate unique QR codes for guest entry and event management.

Users acknowledge that:

  • QR codes are provided for convenience and identification purposes
  • Hosts are responsible for validating entry to events
  • Hostory does not guarantee entry to events or verify guest identity

Hostory is not liable for unauthorized use or misuse of QR codes.

6. Communication and Notifications

Hostory may send automated communications related to events, including:

  • RSVP confirmations
  • Event updates
  • Notifications from hosts or guests

By using the platform, users consent to receiving such communications.

Users may unsubscribe from non-essential communications where applicable.

7. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use Hostory for:

  • Illegal activities
  • Fraudulent events or misleading invitations
  • Harassment or abusive communications
  • Distribution of harmful content or spam
  • Unauthorized data collection

Hostory reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Advertising and Sponsored Content

Hostory may display advertisements or sponsored content within:

  • Emails
  • Platform interfaces

Hostory does not endorse or guarantee products or services advertised on the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the platform, including:

  • Software
  • Design
  • Branding
  • Content

are owned by Hostory or its licensors.

Users may not reproduce, copy, modify, or distribute the platform without permission.

10. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they upload, including:

  • Event descriptions
  • Images
  • Messages

However, by using Hostory, users grant Hostory a limited license to:

  • Store
  • Display
  • Process

this content for the purpose of operating the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

Hostory provides the Service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hostory is not liable for:

  • Event cancellations
  • Guest disputes
  • Entry issues
